we are thrilled to welcome in the Bronson Recordings family Italian shoegazers Mondaze via La Zona D’Ombra project. more news will follow really soon. Stay Tuned!
Formed in Faenza, Mondaze anticipated their sound with “Healing Dreams”, a 3 song self-produced demo released in 2018. It is at the end of 2021 that the band gives vent to its fuzz-infused sounds, creating a refined and immersive debut record, with enveloping distortions and persistent in its pulsating rhythmic density. In “Late Bloom” distant melodies create soundscapes to wander towards a floating world, lulled by a murky and intimate, if not almost interior, vocal line. A record that blends grunge immediacy with melancholy downtempo, a biting hardcore attitude and repetitive doom swirls, resulting in a heavy shoegaze as powerful as a storm and gentle as rain
With equal parts poise and braun, Italian heavy shoegaze outfit Mondaze established themselves with driving impetus in the current wave of weighted haze with their debut album Late Bloom
